A pretty lake like Melvin Pond near Crystal Lake is a brilliant place to take a look at, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Catherine Capers is a perfect spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. The Bomoseen Hiking Loop offers hiking at its best; there are plenty of people from Rutland here. This is no spot for people       who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Take a hike on the Half Moon Pond Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Lake St Catherine Country Club. All through the summertime at Crystal Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake is right by the Glen Lake Trail, and one                  of the overriding features of the surroundings of Crystal Lake is Morris Hill. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Poultney River, and Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a pleasant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Hills Pond close to Crystal Lake.
