Soar down the rapids of Mettawee River in a kayak, and a perfect spot to camp here at Crystal Lake is Bomoseen State Park Campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Crystal Lake; Half Moon Pond Trail is a glorious local trail, and camping is available at Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Crystal Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain,       and February meanwhile is the driest month. There are plenty of folks from Rutland here at Crystal Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Poultney River offers some wonderful whitewater. For the period of the summertime, highs generally are in the 80's at Crystal Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's; nighttime lows at Crystal Lake all through the wintertime mostly drop                  into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Morris Hill can be seen from Crystal Lake; Lake St Catherine Country Club is a perfect golf course nearby. Don't leave Crystal Lake without first going for a hike along the Bomoseen Hiking Loop; Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a great place to get some rest. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Crystal Lake is so good!
