It's always fun to stop by Crystal Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Long Swing Trail, and the snow is magnificent at Gore Mountain. Whitewater paddling is great on Schroon River, and there are other sites here than Crystal Lake, for example Burnt Pond. While you're here at Crystal Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Glens Falls, and a day on the slopes of West Mountain is just what you need.

| | the Adirondack Mountains. There are delightful places to discover along the Pharoah Mountain Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Green Mansion Golf Course. At Crystal Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Pond Trail is always a perfect adventure, and Crystal Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Schroon River Campsites is a pleasant local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Schroon River,
and if you need a place to stay The Sagamore is a glorious choice. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Camping at Warrensburg Travel Park is always
a perfect experience, and a brilliant close by hotel is Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. Crystal Lake is a good location of typical rain;
the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most; January is when it's the driest. Swamps can be such attention-grabbing locations, stop by The Marsher while you're here at Crystal Lake; the peak of Amasa Mountain can be distinguished from Crystal Lake.
