Crystal Lake is not the only place close by, Burnt Pond is a close by lake,       and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at West Mountain since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Schroon River in a kayak, and while you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Green Mansion Golf Course. While you're here at Crystal Lake you can take a hike along the Spectacle Pond Trail, obviously you could also visit Sherman Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Crystal Lake is located in the Adirondack                  Mountains. Summertime at Crystal Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Crystal Lake are in the 0's. So many fun things to do at Crystal Lake, so little time. On a gorgeous day you get a vista of Amasa Mountain from Crystal Lake. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Get dripping wet paddling on Schroon River, and if you need a place to stay Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Crystal Lake you can take a hike along the Pharoah Mountain Trail, and Warrensburg Travel Park is a wonderful campground nearby. Just can't get enough of Crystal Lake. There is a tremendous hiking trail in close proximity to Crystal Lake called the Long Swing Trail, and Schroon River Campsites is a nice local campground.
