If the weather is splendid here at Crystal Lake, you can go for a hike along the Steam Mill Trail, and there are other places here than Crystal Lake, for example Balsam Pond. The snow is pleasant at Holiday Mountain, and going for a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.

A quick visit to Racine Brook in the neighborhood of Crystal Lake is a great idea, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Callicoon Creek - East Branch. If you came for an overnight stay Happy Days Campground is a good site to

Through the summer months here at Crystal Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's.
For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while Crystal Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's.
