Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Oswegatchie River - Middle Branch; Robinson's Iga is a perfect campground nearby. High temperatures at Crystal Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in       the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Crystal Lake. And if that's not enough there's a load more cool stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Post Henderson Trail; if you get bored of Crystal Lake you could also stop at nearby Pansy Pond. Crystal Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone                  but if it's for you then we recommend Little River, and the skiing at McCauley Mountain is glorious. Visit Bassetts Creek since you're here at Crystal Lake, and Francis Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Crystal Lake. Going for a hike along the Salmon Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and a golf course nearby is Sayles John M Memorial Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. What a spot this is for outdoors folks.
