Crystal Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Be careful coming to Crystal Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake usually gets much rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is February. This
lake is so wonderful. Popolopen Creek is a glorious whitewater spot in the vicinity of Crystal Lake, and unsurprisingly Arden Brook flows through this area. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mt. Peter.
You'll need more than a day to look at everything Crystal Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beaver Pond. Hit the slopes at Sterling Forest around here, and not far from Crystal Lake you'll hit upon Roe Pond which is a delightful lake.
