Crystal Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Popolopen Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Woodtown Trail. Sebago Cabins Harriman is a great campground here; if you've had enough of Crystal Lake, Adolphs Pond is nearby. This place, Crystal Lake, it just has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Arden Point is nearby and always good to visit.

| | Bare Rock Mountain is easily seen from Crystal Lake, and Sterling Forest has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. Summertime highs at Crystal Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Crystal Lake tend to be in the 10's. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Highland Falls is a splendid choice; Mt. Peter is a very popular ski area close at hand. Take a side visit to Arden Brook,
and paddling on Moodna Creek is so much fun. Crystal Lake ordinarily gets a lot of rainfall; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February.
This lake is so wonderful. While
you're here at Crystal Lake you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and camping at Crystal Lake is good fun, Beaver Pond is a good local campground. Yeah, come here to Crystal Lake for a good time. A wonderful nearby hotel is Palisade Motel, and an afternoon playing golf at The Garrison Golf Club is always a pleasure.
