Cannonsville Dam is not far at all from Crystal Lake, and camping at Crystal Lake is great fun, Oquaga Creek is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Ouleout Creek, and for you golfers we recommend close by Hardwood Hills Golf Course. Crystal Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain while February       is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Laurel Creek is a delightful local stream, and after a long day outdoors Timberline Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. While you're here at Crystal Lake, you could also check out wonderful Cannonsville Reservoir, and Crystal Lake is a great site to camp, Twin Falls Campground is a great site. During the warmest time of the year here at Crystal Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the                  80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Crystal Lake. Very stunning scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Elk Mountain. And that's not all you can do here at Crystal Lake.
