Lots of folks from Auburn come to Cross Lake, and Syracuse KOA is a nice local campground. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area next to Cross Lake has to offer. Near Cross Lake you stumble on a golf course called Cato Golf Club, and if you need a spot to stay Weedsport Days Inn is a great choice. Get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Oswego River,       and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Otter Lake is just a very short distance away. Why not have a look at Cornells Cove also since you're here, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Owasco River. Why not camp at Sunset Park since you're here at Cross Lake, and Best Western Weedsport Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. Cross Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; most of                  the rain falls throughout November, and the driest month of the year is February. Through the summertime months at Cross Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's.
