Near Crooked Lake you come across the Sixmile Creek Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and naturally Jordan River flows through this vicinity. A delightful site to camp here at Crooked Lake is Higley Flow State Park; a brilliant place for whitewater paddling is Jordan River. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Crooked Lake reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The       winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Crooked Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Here at Crooked Lake you'll probably meet some people from Ogdensburg-Massena. This lake is so wonderful. Raquette River is a perfect whitewater spot in close proximity to Crooked Lake, and a short spree to Jamestown Falls is always worthwhile. Whohoo, so many entertaining                  things in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is so good! Going for a hike on the The Loop is always a brilliant adventure; Crooked Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Robinson's Iga is a tremendous local campground. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There is a great hiking trail close to Crooked Lake called the Ash Pond Trail, and the vista of stunning Hollywood Mountain is delightful. Crooked Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.
