Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. There's whitewater on Jordan River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and Higley Flow State Park is a great campground here. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Robinson's Iga is a glorious site to camp, and you can run the rapids of Raquette River. Don't leave Crooked Lake without first going for a hike along       the Ash Pond Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Mountain Gate Motel. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Jamestown Falls is always fun to check out, and there's magnificent hiking along the The Loop. Crooked Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful                  Adirondack Mountains. Man, is there heaps of amusing stuff to do in the vicinity of Crooked Lake. Good hiking is available along the Sixmile Creek Trail, and don't forget to take a perfect little spree to Jordan River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Stone Manor is a good choice. While you're here at Crooked Lake, you could also go to lovely Chandler Pond; if the weather is pretty, you get a brilliant view of Hollywood Mountain from Crooked Lake. Summer at Crooked Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's.
