The nice people of Ogdensburg-Massena like to hang out close by. This place, Crooked Lake, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff. This is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes. Leonard Pond is a lake in close proximity, and Jordan River is a good whitewater spot nearby. Crooked Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Sixmile Creek Trail is perfect fun; you obtain       a perfect sight of Hollywood Mountain from here. During the summertime at Crooked Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Crooked Lake. There's so much to do here at Crooked Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Robinson's Iga is a good spot for that, and do take a hike on the                  Ash Pond Trail. If you came to camp Higley Flow State Park is a pleasant spot to do that; in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Raquette River. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Some of the water close by flows, like Jordan River It's always pleasant to visit Jamestown Falls. Crooked Lake is a good spot of common rainfall; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains.
