Beautiful Crooked Lake has much to offer visitors. What would winter be without some skiing at Bousquet; you'll stumble on a pretty lake called Glass Lake. A typical amount of rain falls here at Crooked Lake; the month with most of the rain is June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A fine close by hotel is Americas Best Inns Poughkeepsie.

| | and during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Hudson for sure. There is a wonderful hiking trail next to Crooked Lake called the Taconic Skyline Trail, and the slopes of Jiminy Peak are so inviting noone can resist. On a delightful day you obtain a vista of Bailey Mountain from Crooked Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Southeast Hollow Trail.

Club is a golf course close by. Why not camp at Dingman's Campgrounds since you're here at Crooked Lake; there are some glorious whitewater spots on Poesten Kill River. Throughout the warm months here at Crooked Lake, high temperatures
commonly get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Crooked Lake throughout the wintertime commonly drop into
the 10's.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Going for a hike on the Brickhouse Mountain Trail is always a nice adventure, and a perfect place to camp here at Crooked Lake is Alps Family Campground.
