The warmest time of the year at Crooked Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Crooked Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. There's so much to do here at Crooked Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Singing waters Campground is a good location for that.       This site is unbeatable, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the vicinity of Crooked Lake. Going for a hike along the Post Henderson Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; Sand Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. From a rainfall point of view Crooked Lake is a relatively normal location; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Why not go to nearby                  Alder Creek since you're here at Crooked Lake; while you're here, you could also have a look at beautiful McCabe Pond. If the weather is tremendous here at Crooked Lake, you can go for a hike along the Salmon Lake Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at McCauley Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Crooked Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Cold Brook Campsites is a splendid local campground, and Beaver River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby.
