Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Oswegatchie River - East Branch. Summertime at Crooked Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs
are commonly in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Crooked Lake.
Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Oswegatchie River - East Branch offers some splendid whitewater; Sliding Falls is always fun to check out.
