Do pop by Panther Pond in close proximity to Crane Pond, it's a stunning lake, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Monticello is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. So much fun stuff close to Crane Pond, absolutely unbelievable. Camping at Oakland Valley Campgrounds is always a great experience, and Neversink River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Schiff Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Crane Pond throughout the summer months are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Crane Pond. All the water
falling down from the sky makes Crane Pond a wet place; during May this area sees the most rain; the driest month is February. Really good skiing awaits you at Holiday Mountain; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Peenpack Trail.
