Crane Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Swamps can be such exciting locations, stop by Desolate Swamp while you're here at Crane Pond; Schroon Lake Campground is a magnificent campground here. The yearly rainfall here at Crane Pond is about average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This       lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Mountain Pines Motel. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Kish Duna Motel Cottages is a great choice, and you can go for a hike on the Long Swing Trail. This place, Crane Pond, it truly has so much outdoors fun stuff. The top of Antwine Hill is easily made out from Crane Pond; good hiking is available along the Pharoah Mountain Trail. You can run the rapids of The Branch near Crane Pond,                  and hiking is a popular thing to do around Crane Pond; Short Swing Trail is a splendid local trail. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. A lake close by is Alder Pond, and get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Schroon River. All through the days of summer highs here at Crane Pond get into the 70's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Crane Pond tend to be in the 0's.
