This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Covered Bridge Campsite is a great site to do that, and if you need a place to stay De Bruce Country Inn is a great choice. Through the long summer days at Cranberry Pond temperatures are frequently in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Cranberry       Pond are in the 10's. One of the main highlights of the surroundings of Cranberry Pond is Bald Mountain, and Sullivan County Golf & Country Club is a good golf course nearby. There's so much to do here at Cranberry Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hunter Lake Campgrounds is a perfect spot for that, and whitewater paddling is great on Mill Brook. If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Cranberry Pond. Hunter Brook is one of the streams close by                  that might be worth visiting, and the Seager West Branch Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. You'll come across a wonderful lake called Hunter Pond near Cranberry Pond, and good skiing awaits you at Holiday Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Belleayre has great slopes and a friendly staff. Cranberry Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
