Go for a hike on the Roe Trail; Days Inn Bath / Hammondsport is a fine place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Cranberry Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Cardinal Campsite is a fine local campground; get covered with water paddling on Canisteo River. Camping at Babcock Hollow Campground is always a tremendous experience, and great hiking is available along the Niles Trail. Summertime highs       at Cranberry Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Cranberry Pond. If you need a place to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Bath, NY is a wonderful choice, and there are plenty of folks from Corning here. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Cranberry Pond; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is                  the month with the least amount of precipitation. So much exciting stuff to do at Cranberry Pond, so little time.
