The beauty of Cranberry Pond is reason enough to stop by. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sterling Forest if you're here, and there's great hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Cranberry Pond. Not far from Cranberry Pond you stumble on Hell Hole, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Point-Ft Montgomery, Ny is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful.

If you come at the right time of year, Moodna Creek offers some wonderful whitewater, and do stop at Roe Pond, it's a striking lake. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Mt. The Garrison Golf Club is always a delight, and the Woodtown Trail offers hiking at its best. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Popolopen Creek; Cranberry Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Beaver Pond is a magnificent
local campground. So many enjoyable things to do here at Cranberry Pond, too great to be true. A perfect place to visit near Cranberry Pond is Deep Hollow; Crystal Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Cranberry Pond
is a quite wet place frequently with a lot of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 70's at Cranberry
Pond. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Cranberry Pond temperatures descend to the 10's. Camping at Sebago Cabins Harriman is always a
wonderful experience, and don't leave Cranberry Pond without first going for a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail.
