    Many people like to go to Cranberry Pond. Cranberry Pond is a good site of typical precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is January. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Cranberry Pond reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Cranberry Pond descend into the 10's. Man, is there  
   a heap of cool stuff to do in close proximity to Cranberry Pond. Cranberry Pond is a location with many visitors from Rochester, and Beatty Point is in close proximity and always wonderful to take a look at.
Dry warm beds await you at Marriott Rochester Airport, and let's not forget Buttonwood Creek which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. If you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Rochester North is a fine choice, and a beautiful lake
 
               like Buck Pond is a perfect location to stop at. A fine place to camp here at Cranberry Pond is Hamlin Beach State Park; lakes are such serene places, why not go to Long Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Erie Canal in a kayak; if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Lake Shore Country Club. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Irondequoit Creek.

Hundred Acre Pond has numerous fish species present, including Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Sunfish, Largemouth Bass, Brown Bullhead and a few Chain Pickerel. The pond is generally shallow, with extensive weed beds extending almost to the surface in most places. Several open pockets are available however, and the water is quite clear. No power boats are allowed, but a small boat launch is present for canoes and similar craft....
