If you came for an overnight stay Shearer's Riverside Campsite is a wonderful place to camp; going for a hike on the Leach Trail is always a good adventure.       So many entertaining things in the Adirondack Mountains, just extraordinary. A day on the slopes of Whiteface Mountain is just what you need; lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Bullet Pond. What a place this is for outdoors people. On a lovely day you acquire a vista of Noble Mountain from Cranberry Pond, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is The Branch. Why not camp at Paradise Pines Camping Resort since you're here at Cranberry Pond; close                  by you find the Stimson Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. If you need a spot to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a glorious choice, and John's Brook is a glorious whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. North Fork Boquet River is a stream that you may bump into while you're here, and the Weston Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Through the warmest time of the year at Cranberry Pond temperatures are commonly in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Cranberry Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
