The slopes of Whiteface Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and while you're here you have to explore Little Bear Bay. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cranberry Pond a wet site; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a magnificent little visit to Pete Lagus Brook; lakes are such       calm places, why not pop by Union Falls Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a pleasant time. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Cranberry Pond. The view of scenic Bear Mountain near Cranberry Pond is great; there are other locations here than Cranberry Pond, for example Oncio Pond. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming                  back repeatedly. Hiking along the McKenzie Pond Trail is delightful fun, and whitewater paddling is great on Saranac River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. A tremendous swamp next to Cranberry Pond is Gail Swamp, and you'll probably meet some people from Plattsburgh here. Any time is a wonderful time at Cranberry Pond if you love the outdoors. Cranberry Pond is right by the Silver Lake Mountain Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Lakeview Motor Inn. This lake is so wonderful. North Pole Campground is a fine campground nearby; paddling on Ausable River - West Branch is so much fun. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Cranberry Pond. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Cranberry Pond through the winter generally descend into the 0's. Gotta ski! Mount Pisgah is a great place to do that, and the Schwartz Trail offers hiking at its best.
