Cranberry Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls through May, and the driest month of the year is February. There's so much to do here at Cranberry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Binyan David is a great place for that; do take a hike on the Kanape Jeep Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Nevele Grande Resort is a splendid place to get some rest,       and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Shawangunk Country Club is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Pine Swamp is right close by, and not far from Cranberry Lake you'll discover Windsor Lake which is a beautiful lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandburg Creek; Cranberry Lake is right by the Seager West Branch Trail. Yep, outdoors cool stuff                  to do are in fact abundant here at Cranberry Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on Beer Kill River - West Branch, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Vernooy Falls Trail. For the duration of the summertime here at Cranberry Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows at Cranberry Lake during the winter frequently fall into the 10's.
