Throughout the summertime months highs here at Cranberry Lake reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cranberry Lake. Dry warm beds await you at VALLEY BROOK INN AND COTTAGES, and the Kanape Jeep Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. On a perfect day at Cranberry Lake you       can take a hike along the Seager West Branch Trail, and Nevele Grande Resort is a magnificent spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cranberry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Skyway Campgrounds is a fine spot for that, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Vernooy Falls Trail. So many exciting things in close proximity to Cranberry Lake, truly striking. There are swamps here too; Pine Swamp                  is nearby, and Shawangunk Country Club is a delightful golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Mountain is a very popular ski area close by, and there are some great whitewater spots on Beer Kill River - West Branch. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cranberry Lake a wet spot; through May this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandburg Creek.
