If you are in Orange county it's always a good idea to stop by Cragston Lakes. Don't leave Cragston Lakes without first going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Highland Falls is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. There's pleasant hiking along the Woodtown Trail, and lakes are such serene locations, why not check out Crystal Lake. If you like the outdoors, you'll like Cragston Lakes. The summit

| | of Bare Rock Mountain can be observed from Cragston Lakes, and some of the water close by flows, like Copper Mine Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at The Garrison Golf Club not far from Cragston Lakes, and there are other places here than Cragston Lakes, for example Pells Pond. close proximity; if you came to camp Beaver Pond is a good spot to do that. Cragston Lakes is a wet location that gets a good deal of rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months
is February. Throughout the months of summer at Cragston Lakes highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Cragston
Lakes dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. There are wonderful spots to look at along the Stillwell Lake Trail; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mt. Peter. So many exciting things to
do here at Cragston Lakes, too magnificent to be true. Get dripping wet paddling on Popolopen Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Point-Ft Montgomery, Ny. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Sebago Cabins Harriman is always a delightful experience, and a cool spot to stop by is Anthonys Nose.
