If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out Crab Pond. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Schroon River offers some fine whitewater. There's so much to do here at Crab Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Medcalf Acres Campsite is a brilliant location for that. This lake is so wonderful.
