Have a great hiking adventure along the Pharoah Mountain Trail; The Sagamore is a good location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Crab Pond you can take a hike along the Short Swing Trail. During the summertime, highs usually are in the 70's at Crab Pond. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are       regularly in the 20's while Crab Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. And that's not all the things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Hidden Pond Campsite is a brilliant local campground, and getting to Pharoah Lake Brook from Crab Pond is simple. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Whortleberry Pond is one of those nearby; going for a hike along the Spectacle Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty                  of this area. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Crab Pond is a good location of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. A wonderful close by hotel is The Sagamore, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Glens Falls for sure. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Crab Pond has it all. Crab Pond is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Point O' Pines is a perfect location to camp nearby; if you've had enough of Crab Pond, Chub Pond is close by.
