If you are traveling by, why not stop by Crab Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Medcalf Acres Campsite is a good place to camp, and after a long day outdoors Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Looking for something near Crab Pond? Pharoah Lake is close by, and on a wonderful day you get a tremendous vista of Antwine Hill from Crab Pond.

| | Dry warm beds await you at The Sagamore, and float down the rapids of Putnam Creek in a kayak. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Crab Pond. Swamps can be such attention-grabbing places, pop by Glidden Marsh if you're here at Crab Pond; paddling on Schroon River is so much fun. Crab Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.

do in the Adirondack Mountains. Why not camp at Echo Lake Southwoods since you're here at Crab Pond; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Short Swing Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes,
Goose Pond is one of those nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Long Swing Trail. At Crab Pond all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the
wintertime are commonly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Crab Pond temperatures descend to the 0's.
Crab Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while February
is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Some nearby water includes Pyramid Brook, and going for a hike on the Pharoah Mountain Trail is always a brilliant adventure.
