    Go to Covey Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. The warmest time of the year at Covey Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Covey Pond descend into the 0's. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Oswegatchie River - East Branch is a brilliant whitewater spot  
   right next door to Covey Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Big Rock Cottages.
Yeah, come here to Covey Pond for a perfect time. You can run the rapids of Oswegatchie River - East Branch in the vicinity of Covey Pond, and going for a hike on the Salmon Lake Trail is always a pleasant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at McCauley Mountain is tremendous, and a short trip to Sliding Falls is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. If you
 
               came to camp Cape Woods Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Ogdensburg-Massena here.
Covey Pond is a good place of normal rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. There's so much to do here at Covey Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Robinson's Iga is a delightful place for that, and Daikers Brookside Lodging is a perfect location to get some rest. So much fun stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just fantastic. A gorgeous lake like Clear Lake near Covey Pond is a great site to check out, and nice hiking is available along the The Loop.
Go for a hike on the Norridge Trail; from Covey Pond you get a pleasant sight of Summit Mountain. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains.
