At Courtney Pond through the days of summer highs are in the 70's, and the night is a little cooler of course, typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Courtney Pond. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. East Mill Brook is a brilliant site to check out, and you'll locate a stunning       lake called Clap Pond. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Shearer's Riverside Campsite is a tremendous campground here. At Courtney Pond you can see Catamount Mountain; if you came for an overnight stay Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a splendid location to camp. Having a great time in the Adirondack Mountains is uncomplicated. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Whiteface Mountain is next to Courtney Pond,                  and soar down the rapids of Schroon River in a kayak. There's tremendous hiking along the Peaked Hill Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Courtney Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Courtney Pond; Weston Trail is a good local trail, and if you come at the right time of year, The Branch offers some nice whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Dix Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a magnificent choice.
