Camping is available at Hoss's Country Campground, and Comer Pond is a perfect lake nearby. Near Corner Pond you discover the Northville Lake Placid Trail which is a good hiking trail; Mount Pisgah is a very popular ski area close at hand. Corner Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable       things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. If you need a place to stay THE HOTEL SARANAC is a splendid choice; a picturesque lake like Pickwacket Pond is a magnificent place to visit. You can run the rapids of Rock River in close proximity to Corner Pond, and a great spot to camp here at Corner Pond is Whispering woods. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Corner Pond. Going for a hike on the Indian Pass Trail is always a fine adventure,                  and on a beautiful day you obtain a pleasant vista of Kempshall Mountain from Corner Pond. You clearly have to adore the Adirondack Mountains. There's whitewater on Cold River for all you thrill seekers; dry warm beds await you at Woodlake Inn. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All through the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Corner Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
