Copper Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is great! The Gulf is a glorious site to spend some time at, and if you need a spot to stay Cloudspin Lodge is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Magic Pines Family Camp Grounds is always a perfect experience; for you golfers we recommend close by Indole Golf Course. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even

| | more entertaining stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Lots of people from Plattsburgh come to Copper Pond; going for a hike on the Leach Trail is always a good adventure.
A gorgeous lake like Clark Pond right next door to Copper Pond is a fine spot to explore; the skiing at Whiteface Mountain is wonderful. All through the summertime months at Copper Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The | |

From a rain point of view Copper Pond is a relatively common spot; most of the rain falls through August; the driest of the months is February. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more
to do in the neighborhood of Copper Pond. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on The Branch; on a lovely day you obtain a splendid vista of Burnt Mountain from Copper Pond. Near Copper Pond
you locate the Stimson Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Boquet River.
