You get a good view of Center Hill from Copake Lake, and going for a hike on the Elbow Trail is always a good adventure. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Chrysler Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Oleana Family Camp Grounds is a magnificent location to camp. An average amount of rainfall       falls at Copake Lake; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Catamount is in the vicinity of Copake Lake, and the Northrop Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. At Copake Lake you always meet someone from Hudson. Lakes? Sure, Snyder Pond is around here. This lake is so wonderful. Copake                  Country Club is a great golf course nearby; St Charles Hotel is a good place to get some rest. High temperatures at Copake Lake throughout the summer are in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Copake Lake are in the 0's.
