The Willow Trail offers hiking at its best; Rondout Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Camping is available at Phoenicia Black Bear Campground & RV Park, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Phoenicia Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Hotel Mountain Brook; from Cooper Lake       you acquire a perfect view of Acorn Hill. Cooper Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summer highs here at Cooper Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Cooper Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
