The beauty of Coon Pond attracts many people from all around. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Man, is there lots of cool things to do in the neighborhood of Coon Pond. Wintergreen Lake Campsite is a great campground nearby; the view of Heath Mountain is scenic. This lake is so wonderful. Burch Brook is a good spot to check out, and close by you locate the Oregon Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. This is a popular site for folks from

| | Glens Falls, and going for a hike on the Spectacle Pond Trail is always a fine adventure. Throughout the summer months here at Coon Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Coon Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Super 8 Motel is a great site to spend a night or two. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is abundant here in the Adirondack Mountains. Lakes? Sure, Daggett Pond is in close proximity, and Hudson River is a wonderful whitewater spot
nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Number Nine Pond is a splendid lake in close proximity to Coon Pond; in the vicinity of Coon Pond you discover a golf course called Green Mansion Golf Course. There's no way anybody can get bored
here in the Adirondack Mountains. The skiing at Gore Mountain is glorious, and a perfect site for whitewater paddling is Glen Creek. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be.
If you came for an overnight stay Crazy Creek Campground is a wonderful location to camp; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Lake George Resort is a magnificent choice. From a precipitation point of view Coon Pond is a quite normal place; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
