Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Coon Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at West Mountain, and don't forget to take a fine little tour to Burch Brook. And that's not all       the things you can do here in the Adirondack Mountains. There's whitewater on Hudson River for all you adrenaline junkies, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Gore Mountain while you're here. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Lake George/Warrensburg Area is a brilliant choice, and Heath Mountain is a peak you can see from Coon Pond. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are really plentiful here at Coon Pond. So many fun things                  in the vicinity of Coon Pond, completely amazing. Coon Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Crazy Creek Campground is a delightful local campground, and you'll find a beautiful lake called Number Nine Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains.
