Cooks Reservoir is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a nice time. Take a side journey to Steele Creek, and Cooks Reservoir is right by the Oregon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Steele Reservoir next to Cooks Reservoir, it's a pretty lake. For you golfers we recommend nearby Galway Golf Course, and dry warm beds await you at Stockade Inn. This lake is       so wonderful. Camping at Birch Haven is always a brilliant experience, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hickory Ski Center if you're here. For the duration of the summer months here at Cooks Reservoir, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Cooks Reservoir. Cooks Reservoir really is in the middle                  of a lovely outdoors paradise.
