If you are in Essex county it's always a good idea to stop by Connery Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Roaring Brook is a stream you can stop at during your stay, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Craig Wood Golf & Country Club. Connery Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rain; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. If you need a spot to stay

| | Lake Placid Club Lodge is a tremendous choice, and the summit of Mount Whitney can be seen from Connery Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Mirror Lake Inn, and camping at Adirondak Loj is always a nice experience. What would winter be without some skiing at Whiteface Mountain, and going for a hike on the Schwartz Trail is always a great adventure. Any time is a tremendous time at Connery Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. | |

Lake Placid is a nearby lake that you could visit, and Connery Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Whispering Pines Campground is a good local campground.
At Connery Pond all through the days of summer highs are in
the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Connery Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. A cool spot to stop by in close proximity
to Connery Pond is Moss Cliff, and good hiking is available along the McKenzie Pond Trail. Having a good time in the Adirondack Mountains is easy. While you're here at Connery Pond, you could also take a look at striking Long Pond,
and you can go for a hike on the Hopkins Trail.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Here at Connery Pond you'll probably meet some folks from Plattsburgh. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack
