    Do stop by Congers Lake while you're in this part of New York. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Woodtown Trail, and camping at Beaver Pond is always a great experience. Take a side spree to Toms Brook, and paddling on Popolopen Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Manhattan Woods Golf Club; dry warm beds await you at Raintree Motel.
This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Long Clove
 
   if you're here at Congers Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Green Inn Motel On the Lake is a great choice. Sterling Forest is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and hiking along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is pleasant fun. If you're stopping by Congers Lake from New York-Newark-Edison, you won't be the only one, and if you came to camp Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a perfect site to do that.
That right there is plenty already, but it goes on;
 
               Congers Lake has it all. Hook Mountain is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Congers Lake; a gorgeous lake like DeForest Lake is a fine place to stop at. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Summer at Congers Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Congers Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's.
Congers Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rain; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Soar down the rapids of Ramapo River in a kayak, and going for a hike along the Breakneck Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
