Sterling Forest is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and hiking along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is pleasant fun. If you're stopping by Congers Lake from New York-Newark-Edison, you won't be the only one, and if you came to camp Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a perfect site to do that.
