During your visit to Lake Como you'll meet some folks from Ithaca for sure, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fall Creek. A quick tour to Lake Como Outlet right next door to Lake Como is a tremendous idea, and Econo Lodge Cortland is a tremendous site to get some rest. Why not camp at Fillmore Glen State Park if you're here at Lake Como. A normal       amount of rain falls here at Lake Como; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Yeah, come here to Lake Como for a nice time. The skiing at Song Mountain is great; while you're here you can play some golf at Stonehedge's Golf Club. For the period of the long summer days at Lake Como temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down                  to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Lake Como. A great site in the vicinity of Lake Como is Sherman Gulf, and if you came for an overnight stay Forest Lake Camp Ground is a nice spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful.
