In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Combs Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Combs Lake; Stone Dam Trail is a tremendous local trail; what would winter be without some skiing at McCauley Mountain. Combs Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Some of the water close by flows, like Combs Brook.
This lake is so wonderful.

| | A perfect place to camp here at Combs Lake is Cape Woods Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Forty Mountain Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Moose River - South Branch offers some pleasant whitewater, and do schedule some time to take a look at Deer Bay if you have a chance. is a great site to spend a night or two; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Black River - South Branch. Combs Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more exciting
stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. There's brilliant hiking along the Twin Lakes Trail, and Combs Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Singing waters Campground is a perfect local campground.
Rose Mountain
is clearly visible from Combs Lake; Bisby Lodge is a great place to check out while in the neighborhood. What a place this is for outdoors people. Dry warm beds await you at Forge Motel, and Chamber Lake is a splendid lake nearby.
