Summertime highs at Columbia Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Columbia Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Oquaga Creek is a magnificent campground here, and after a long day outdoors Laurel Bank Motel is a glorious place to       spend a night or two. Stay the night at Twin Falls Campground; a good nearby hotel is Green Acres Motel. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Everybody close by loves skiing at Elk Mountain; enjoy a round of golf at Hardwood Hills Golf Course. Columbia Lake is a quite wet place mostly with much rain; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Paddling on Ouleout Creek is so much fun;                  Mount Tone is a great local ski area.
