Go to Collins Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Normans Kill River; needless to say Collins Creek is a stunning stream that is worth a visit. Paddling on Mohawk River is so much fun, and dry warm beds await you at Parker Inn. This lake is so wonderful.

This lake is so wonderful. Collins Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Frosty Acres Campgrounds is a great local campground; Hillcrest Golf Club is a golf course nearby. While you're here at Collins
Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Albany-Schenectady-Troy, and if you're here why not take a look at Pleasant Valley. There's so much to do here at Collins Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Arrowhead Marina and RV Park is a great place for that, and Iroquois Peninsula is not far at all.
