But wait, there's more to do near Lake                  Colden. Camping at Adirondak Loj is always a pleasant experience, and swing by Cold Brook it's a brilliant site to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Indian Pass Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and Courtyard Lake Placid is a brilliant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Whiteface Mountain, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Lake Placid. This place, Lake Colden, it clearly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. You can catch a sight of Algonquin Peak from Lake Colden; you can hit the slopes at Mount Pisgah in the neighborhood. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Adirondack Mountains. While you're here at Lake Colden you have to go to Beaver Point; if you desire a little side trip, try Avalanche Pass. Lake Colden is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Summertime at Lake Colden comes with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Colden temperatures fall to the 0's.
