The beauty of Lake Colden is reason enough to stop by. Lake Colden gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. The skiing at Mount Pisgah is great, and why not camp at Adirondak Loj if you're here at Lake Colden. Through the summertime months at Lake Colden highs are regularly in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's.

This lake is so wonderful. Hanging Spear Falls is a scenic place to stop by while you're at Lake Colden, and nice hiking is available along the Indian Pass Trail. Lake Colden is located in the Adirondack Mountains. If you like skiing,
you're in luck; Whiteface Mountain is next to Lake Colden; get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Ausable River - West Branch.
Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are in fact bountiful here at Lake Colden. You
can run the rapids of Boreas River - Upper close to Lake Colden, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hopkins Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Courtyard Lake Placid is a good spot to spend a night
or two, and Avalanche Pass is also a glorious place to look at. You definitely must have a thing about Lake Colden. Some of the water close by flows, like Cold Brook.
