Lake Colby is a lake worth visiting. Take a hike on the Indian Pass Trail, and why not head up to Whiteface Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Colby a pretty wet place; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Kiwassa Lake near Lake Colby, it's a beautiful lake, and if you want to play

| | some golf, you're in luck because Saranac Lake Golf Club is close by.
This lake is so wonderful. A great site for whitewater paddling close to Lake Colby is Cold River; camping is available at Donaldson George A and Sons. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. If you came for an overnight stay Pioneer Village is a good location to camp.

if that's not enough, there's lots more to do right next door to Lake Colby. Lake Colby is right by the McKenzie Pond Trail, and why not stop at Ampersand Bay also while you're here. Fish Creek is near Lake Colby and is always a delight
to pop by, and if you need a spot to stay THE HOTEL SARANAC is a splendid choice. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ausable River - West Branch, and Mount Pisgah is a very popular
ski area in close proximity.
Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is bountiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. A pretty lake like Lake Flower near Lake Colby is a glorious site to pop by, and you can have a good hiking adventure along
the Schwartz Trail. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. At Lake Colby you can spot Dewey Mountain, and dry warm beds await you at Woodlake Inn. Throughout the summer months highs here at Lake Colby
get into the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Colby dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.
