And that's not all you can do here at Lake Colby. The top of Dewey Mountain is easily seen from Lake Colby, and Lake Colby is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Pioneer Village is a glorious local campground. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Lake Colby has it all. If you're here at Lake Colby, do take a visit to Ampersand Bay. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains       for a good time. Skiing at Mount Pisgah is one of those things you just ought to do; you'll find a beautiful lake called Lake Flower. Whitewater paddling is great on Ausable River - West Branch, and if you came to camp Donaldson George A and Sons is a splendid site to do that. Lake Colby is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Fish Creek is near Lake Colby and is always a bliss to explore, and Cold River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. A                  fine nearby hotel is Woodlake Inn, and enjoy a round of golf at Saranac Lake Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. A gorgeous lake like Little Colby Pond in the neighborhood of Lake Colby is a great site to check out; do take a hike on the Indian Pass Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Whiteface Mountain, and hiking along the Schwartz Trail is splendid fun. Lake Colby gets a great deal of water; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Lake Colby generally tend to be in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; night lows at Lake Colby through the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 0's. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again.
