What a nice lake Lake Colby is. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Ampersand Bay Boat Club, and you are near Ampersand Bay while you're here. Lake Colby sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls through August; February on the other hand is the driest. Camping at Lake Colby is magnificent fun, Pioneer Village is a magnificent local campground; unsurprisingly

The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lake Colby. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake Colby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Lake Colby. Very beautiful scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Mount Pisgah, and Ausable River - West Branch has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot
nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Whiteface Mountain since you're here, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Schwartz Trail. Saranac Lake Golf Club
is a good golf course close by, and going for a hike along the Indian Pass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Lake Colby. This lake is so
wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Gauthier's Saranac Lake Motor is a splendid choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Donaldson George A and Sons is a nice site to camp. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining
stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Hiking along the McKenzie Pond Trail is splendid fun; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cold River.
