It's got good fishing and its a very big area to just go out and relax while trying to catch some dinner.  I cant say I've caught many big ones but many  many sunfish and smallmouth. I know there are trout in the upper pond and walleye in the pond furthest to the left. Also large and smallmouth bass are in all three. Great place to go. Petersburg Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Cobleskill Reservoir, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on West Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
