Cobamong Pond usually gets a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month is January. After a long day outdoors Ramada Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Clarence Fahnestock State Park is a great spot to do that. Just can't get enough of Cobamong Pond. If you need a location to stay Wellesley Inn Armonk is       a good choice, and an afternoon playing golf at Glenarbor Golf Club is always a delight. There's whitewater on Norwalk River for all you thrill seekers; an interesting thing to stop by close to Cobamong Pond is Saddle Pond Dam. The skiing at Thunder Ridge is magnificent, and do stop at Converse Lake, it's a beautiful lake. High temperatures at Cobamong Pond during the warm months are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. High temperatures                  through the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Cobamong Pond sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
