If the weather is fine here at Cobalt Lake, you can go for a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and some close by water includes Casper Creek. Golf can be played at Dutchess Golf & Country, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Cobalt Lake is a wet site that gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls through May, and February meanwhile is       the driest month. At Cobalt Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at K O A-hudson Valley Campground is always a great experience. You'll come across a beautiful lake called Wappinger Lake near Cobalt Lake, and glide down the rapids of Moodna Creek in a kayak.
