Go to Cliffdale Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Cliffdale Pond is not the only place nearby, Bakwin Pond is a nearby lake, and New Croton Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. If you came for an overnight stay Sebago Cabins Harriman is a great place to camp, and at Cliffdale Pond you can make out Catamount Hill. This lake is so wonderful. There is a nice hiking trail near Cliffdale Pond called the Stillwell Lake Trail, and Edith Macy Conference Center is a great place to get some rest. perfect idea. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Moodna Creek; going for a hike on the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is always a nice adventure.
If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can
always go whitewater paddling on Popolopen Creek. While you're here at Cliffdale Pond you will meet lots of people from nearby Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown; if you need a location to stay Watergate Motor Inn is a great choice.
Cliffdale Pond gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
The Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Cliffdale Pond; since you're here you can play some golf at Trump National Golf Club.
