Cleveland Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Happy Hollow Campground is a good local campground, and you can run the rapids of Independence River. From a precipitation point of view Cleveland Lake is a pretty typical spot; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months       is February. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Cleveland Lake? Payne Lake is in the neighborhood; there's whitewater on Otter Creek for all you thrill seekers. If you came to camp Moose River Camp Grounds is a nice place to do that, and some of the water nearby flows, like Beaver Meadow Creek. High temperatures at Cleveland Lake during the summertime are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's.
