This lake is so wonderful. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Lost Pond is a lake in the neighborhood; if you're popping by from Plattsburgh, you won't be the only one. This place, Clements Pond, it completely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Dry warm beds await you at Mirror Lake Inn, and Whiteface Mountain is a nice local ski area. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the       Adirondack Mountains. Going for a hike on the Southside Trail is always a fine adventure, and Clements Pond is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, High Peaks Base Camp is a delightful place to camp nearby. After a long day outdoors Courtyard Lake Placid is a delightful site to spend a night or two, and Lewis Brook is next to Clements Pond and is always a bliss to pop by. From a rain point of view Clements Pond is a rather common place; August is                  the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. So much cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just extraordinary. There is a magnificent hiking trail near Clements Pond called the Weston Trail, and get drenched paddling on Ausable River - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Near Clements Pond you come across the White Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Clements Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lake Placid/Whiteface MT KOA. Clements Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Clements Pond. Lakes are nice; Lake Eaton is a lake that's near Clements Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Clements Pond reach the 70's; the night is fairly cooler of course, usually in the 50's.
