This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the months of summer here at Clements Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Clements Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful.       You get a splendid panorama of Clements Mountain from Clements Pond, and Whiteface Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff. There's whitewater on Ausable River - East Branch for all you adrenaline people, and you can go for a hike on the White Trail. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is bountiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you need a location to stay Mirror Lake Inn is a wonderful choice, and don't leave Clements Pond without first going for a                  hike along the Southside Trail. Clements Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls through August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Why not camp at High Peaks Base Camp since you're here at Clements Pond; hey, Lewis Brook is a great local stream. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you're dropping by Clements Pond from Plattsburgh, you won't be the only one; after a long day outdoors Courtyard Lake Placid is a great place to spend a night or two. And that's not all you can do here at Clements Pond.
