The panorama of charming The Saddles near Clear Pond is wonderful, and dry warm beds await you at The Sagamore. Hit the slopes at West Mountain in the neighborhood, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mettawee River. Have a good hiking adventure along the Glen Lake Trail; there are other sites here than Clear Pond, for example Spectacle Pond. You assume that's enough?       Just getting warmed up. If you need a location to stay The Sagamore is a good choice, and a spree to close by South Bay is very relaxing. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Poultney River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and camping is available at Green Acres By The Brook. An average amount of precipitation falls at Clear Pond; August is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.                  This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Lost Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and a nice place to camp here at Clear Pond is Adirondack Camp. Swamps don’t sound that magnificent but Timber Marsh in the neighborhood of Clear Pond is quite magnificent. Lakes? Sure, Sawmill Pond is around here. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Glens Falls here, and a round of golf at nearby Valley View Golf Course is a tremendous way to kill some time. Having a glorious time in the Adirondack Mountains is trouble-free. If the weather is glorious here at Clear Pond, you can go for a hike along the Bomoseen Hiking Loop; some close by water includes Pike Brook. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Clear Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. During the months of summer at Clear Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
