A common amount of precipitation falls here at Clear Pond; August is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Clear Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things near Clear Pond. Playing golf is lots of fun at Valley View Golf Course, and Clear Pond is a site with       many visitors from Glens Falls. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mettawee River, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Bomoseen Hiking Loop. A good close by hotel is The Sagamore, and Poultney River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Adirondack Mountains.                  If the weather is glorious here at Clear Pond, you can go for a hike along the Lost Pond Trail, and beautiful scenery and fine skiing is what you acquire at West Mountain. High temperatures at Clear Pond through the summer are in the 80's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's while Clear Pond night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. Green Acres By The Brook is a great campground here, and swamps can be such attention-grabbing spots, go to Timber Marsh while you're here at Clear Pond. The top of The Saddles is easily observed from Clear Pond, and South Bay is around here and always good to go to. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Pike Brook from Clear Pond is easy, and skiing at Willard Mountain is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg is a splendid spot to spend a night or two, and going for a hike along the Glen Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Adirondack Mountains. That right there is a load of exciting things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. Lakes?
