The beauty of Clear Pond is reason enough to stop by. The amount of rainfall that falls at Clear Pond is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Clear Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime

| | lows all through the wintertime for Clear Pond tend to be in the 0's. If the weather is great here at Clear Pond, you can go for a hike along the Weston Trail, and if you're here, you could explore Durgan Brook.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail close to Clear Pond called the Leach Trail, and Indole Golf Course is a great golf course close by. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. | |

Lakes? Sure, Clark Pond is around here, and from Clear Pond you obtain a glorious sight of Black Mountain. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Clear Pond. If you come at the right time of
year, Boquet River offers some great whitewater, and a great place nearby is The Gulf.
These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Soar down the rapids of The Branch in a
kayak, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Plattsburgh is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Au Sable River Campsite is always a brilliant experience, and you can never get enough of
the magnificent skiing at Whiteface Mountain. If you came to camp Magic Pines Family Camp Grounds is a wonderful place to do that, and if you're visiting from Plattsburgh, you won't be the only one.
Not enough hours in a day to
enjoy this site. Clear Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. On a pleasant day at Clear Pond you can take a hike along the Stimson Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Plattsburgh-Days Inn.
