Many people like to go to Clear Pond. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. What would winter be without some skiing at Gore Mountain; going for a hike on the Elk Lake Marcy Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Through the warmest time of the year here at Clear Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's;

| | after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Clear Pond sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Schroon River next to Clear Pond, and close by you locate the Dix Trail which is a delightful hiking trail.

so much to do here at Clear Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Shearer's Riverside Campsite is a great site for that. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Clear Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Lake
Placid, and if you came to camp Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a good place to do that.
Clear Pond gets a common amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most
while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Dividing Ridge Trail; there's whitewater on The Branch for all you thrill seekers. A day at striking Jones Beach near Clear Pond is a nice
thing to do.
This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Having a tremendous time in the Adirondack Mountains is simple. The peak of Clear Pond Mountain can be seen from Clear Pond, and hey, Gotta ski right? Whiteface Mountain is a splendid site to do that.
