This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. From a rain point of view Clear Pond is a relatively normal spot; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. The snow is glorious at Whiteface Mountain; if you need a place to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a nice choice. So much amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just impressive.       A glorious nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Lake Placid; The Branch has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. Why not check out Duck Hole also if you're here; camping at Shearer's Riverside Campsite is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. Elk Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Schroon River. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great world it would be. Big Sally                  Brook is a great spot to pop by, and the Dividing Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Clear Pond during the months of summer are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Clear Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. A nice place to camp here at Clear Pond is Paradise Pines Camping Resort, and a lake nearby is Little Marsh Pond. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do close to Clear Pond. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Gore Mountain is in close proximity to Clear Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to hit the beach, Jones Beach is nearby, and there's wonderful hiking along the Elk Lake Marcy Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains.
