There are good places to look at along the Post Henderson Trail, and Robinson's Iga is a great campground here. While you're here at Clear Lake, you could also check out pretty Buck Pond, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Big Swamp is right nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Conkey Branch is a stunning stream that is worth stopping at, and after a long day outdoors Best Western University Inn is a splendid place to spend       a night or two. The amount of rainfall that falls at Clear Lake is close to the national average; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Canton. Grass River - North Branch is a delightful whitewater spot right next door to Clear Lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Ogdensburg-Massena here. The peak of Barbour Hill can be spotted from Clear Lake,                  and a short spree to Cedar Spring is always worthwhile. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Clear Lake rules! You can run the rapids of Grass River - Middle Branch close to Clear Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Higley Flow State Park is a brilliant location to camp. Summertime highs at Clear Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.
