Here at Clear Lake you can spot Candlewood Hill, and paddling on Wappinger Creek is so much fun. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express FISHKILL, and glide down the rapids of Popolopen Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is brilliant here at Clear Lake, you can go for a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here. Clear       Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Mud Lake is one of those close by, and Residence Inn By Marriott Fishkill is a great place to get some rest. While you're here at Clear Lake you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and a golf course close by is The                  Garrison Golf Club. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Clear Lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Thunder Ridge, and a tremendous place to camp here at Clear Lake is Sylvan Lake Beach Park. Lakes are great; Stillwater Pond is a lake that's near Clear Lake, and camping at Camp Discovery is always a tremendous experience. For the duration of the summertime at Clear Lake highs are typically in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
